Teen Tech Week Young Adult Instagram Photo Contest!

Teens…take a digital photo, win a $25. Amazon Gift Card! Take a photo of yourself borrowing a print book or an eBook about technology or using an HSPLS online database. You can also take a photo of you in the Young Adult Section.
Then…
Step1: Post your digital photo on Instagram
Step 2: Hashtag it #TTW15 and #HKARocks
Step 3: Follow @HSPLSHIgov
Contest Rules: The online contest starts at 12:01am on Tuesday, March 3 and ends at 11:59pm on Tuesday, March 10. Entrants are limited to Hawaii Island residents, ages 12 to 18. Teens under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian in order to participate. Library staff are excluded from this contest. Your Instagram account must be made “public” at least through March 14.
Participants must hashtag the photo with #TTW15 and #HKARocks and follow @HSPLSHIgov or Instagram. The number of “Likes” will not determine the winner, but judges may take popularity into account. Photos must be family-friendly and obey all laws, including Instagram policies, copyright and privacy.
For your privacy, take only partial facial photos of yourself and do not include others. If you take a photo with your library card, please cover the barcode. By entering the contest, you are giving the library permission to use the photo.
One winner will receive a $25. Amazon Gift Card and must respond with their email address to receive the prize, which will be announced at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 at the Kailua-Kona Public Library Teen Tech Week craft program. Winner must pick up prize from the Kailua-Kona Young Adult Section by March 21.
