Skylark – First Friday at HiSAM

December 1, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free, family-friendly evening of art and music with Skylark. Playing the music of composers such as Bach and Tchaikovsky, Skylark’s recorder instruments are what sets them apart. These are not the plastic recorders you played in primary school! Some as large as 6’2”, these beautiful instruments are made out of rosewood, tulipwood and ebony. Admission is always free.

6:00 – 9:00 PM, second floor of the No 1. Capitol District building (250 South Hotel St., corner of Richards and S. Hotel). Free and open to the public. HiSAM galleries will be open (admission is always free). Parking available across the street in the Ali'i Place building (enter at 1099 Alakea St., cash only) or metered street parking in the area. Several TheBus lines stop in front of or close to the building.
