Keiki Hula Presentation with Kanani Oliveira Wahiawa Hula Studio II

Wahiawa Library continues in celebrating its 75th birthday year with a special performance of Hawaiian culture. The Kanani Oliveira Wahiawa Hula Studio II halau will present a night of keiki hula in the library on Wednesday, August 5, at 6:00 pm. This free offering of traditional and contemporary hula styles marks the beginning of statehood month and will feature different groups within the halau. The family-friendly event will be held in the library's childrens room and will last for about one hour. The program is appropriate for all ages and is a great opportunity for children and grown-ups alike to learn about this traditional cultural expression.
