October 24, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Social media presents a real challenge in how users decipher fact from flash when consuming news. Join Honolulu Civil Beat as they discuss the idea of information bubbles and emphasize the importance of a healthy diversity of sources. The event will include a workshop portion where guests will learn strategies for incorporating viewpoints that challenge their own. This free 90-minute program will be held in the Meeting Room (ground floor).

Space is limited; RSVP is recommended. To register for this event, click here.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library at least 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
