Book Discussion

North Kohala Public Library's reading group will discuss, “In the Time of the Butterflies”, by Julia Alvarez.

This historical novel of the Dominican Republic depicts the everyday lives of common people during the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo.

The library reading group meets on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a variety of fiction, non-fiction, contemporary, and classic titles.

Copies of the book are available to check out from the library and are often available in e-book or audiobook format through the library system's OverDrive digital collection.
