Songs from Hawaii Opera Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus’s Fairy Chorus will perform selected songs from the most recent production of Hawaii Opera Theatre’s (HOT) “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Benjamin Britten, and “talk story” about their experiences on stage and the opera versions behind Shakespeare’s poignant story. This is the first time HOT produced this opera in Hawaii and the only chorus on stage was filled with children. The performance will be held in the Library’s main lobby.
