Lā'ie wetland is one of Maui's natural spaces in Kihei that provides a welcome habitat for native plants and animals. We schedule periodic work days there to make sure it stays litter-free and conducive to flora and fauna thriving there. This geographical land type is also ecologically and culturally crucial as a connection point to assure that water flows mauka to makai.
Join our staff Saturday, September 5 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm to mālama this special place. Let us know you're coming by email or phone.
If you can't make it this Saturday, let us know you're interested in hearing about future workdays and we'll keep you in the loop!
