The ‘ukulele, an icon of aloha and Hawai‘i’s most celebrated instrument, will bring together more than 10,000 people including masterful musicians at the world’s first and one of the largest ‘ukulele festivals next year.
The 46th Annual Ukulele Festival Hawaii is set for Sunday, July 17, 2016 in world-famous Waikīkī in Honolulu. Presented by Tony Group Autoplex and Pacific International Realty, the 2016 Ukulele Festival Hawaii will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature a star-studded line-up of musicians from around the world along with the Roy Sakuma 700-piece ‘Ukulele Band composed of children and adults.
Other festival offerings include free ‘ukulele lessons, ‘ukulele displays and giveaways by ‘ukulele manufacturers, food booths, and Ukulele Festival souvenir t-shirts available for sale.
The event is free and open to the public.
