The Magic Flutes of Hilo

The Magic Flutes of Hilo will offer a retelling with music of the Mozart opera, “Die Zauberflote” – The Magic Flute, which is a dramatic story of love and redemption, and the challenges of being true to oneself and the Beloved.
The flute duo arrangement by Mozart himself features Cheryl Shine & Jean Pierre Thoma, with an abridged version of the tale. Also, several classical flute duets will accompany the program, revealing the versatility and charm of the Magic Flutes.
This program is free and is suitable for all ages. Please contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if other special accommodations are needed.
