Portuguese Around the World

Join members of the Big Island Portuguese Culture Club for a talk story about the history and geography of Portugal as well as the history of the world's first long distance mariners. Patrons will learn about contributions that the Portuguese have offered to cultures across the world. Information about these maritime travelers will cover settlements spanning across Europe, Africa, Asian and the Americas, including Hawaii.
