Celebrate National Landscape Architecture Month — The History of Ala Moana Park

Kim Kido, a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects – Hawaii chapter, will share the history of Ala Moana Park that she discovered while preparing for the National Park Service's Historic American Landscapes Survey challenge. Through early photographs and plans, the talk will explore the park's development, Art Deco architecture, and evolving design. The American Society of Landscape Architects designated National Landscape Architecture Month to promote their profession and its work.
