Down to Earth has organized a volunteer work day to help a local non-profit farm. Green Rows Farm is managed and cared for by Kai Hinson and Sean Anderson; two young farmers dedicated to regenerative practices, excited by Oahu's local food movement, and enthusiastic about getting dirty, having fun, and growing delicious food. We will be working rain or shine unless it's a downpour. We will notify everyone if the event does need to be canceled. Please prepare to get dirty and muddy. Lunch, water, bug spray, and sunblock will be provided. Carpooling is strongly encouraged as there is very limited parking at Green Rows Farm.
Please wear/bring: (if possible)
Boots • Farm Work clothes
Hat • Gardening Gloves • Water bottle • Re-usable utensils & lunch containers • non-DEET bug spray • sunblock
Please wear appropriate clothes for your safety.
