SUMMARY:Lemonade Alley
DESCRIPTION:What’s better than a keiki entrepreneur? A whole BUNCH of them\, plus lemonade! This Saturday\, adjacent to the Pearlridge Farmers’ Market you can check out the culmination of a whole lot of hard work! At its core\, Lemonade Alley is just a lemonade stand contest. K-12 students build stands. They sell lemonade. But the “twist” is that they do it for charities of their choice. This makes Lemonade Alley an all-in-one innovation challenge\, entrepreneurial contest and charitable giving program. For youth\, it’s about empowerment and finding the hero within. For adults\, it’s a chance to play like a kid again and strengthen family\, professional and community relationships.
