Countless articles were written about his heroism following 9/11. He was photographed by Richard Avedon for a spread in USA Today. He appeared on NBC’s Today show. And he ran the Olympic Torch on its way to Salt Lake City for the 2002 Winter Olympics. \nCORRIDOR FOUR is a feature-length documentary that illustrates Isaac’s story in the aftermath of 9/11. After all the news cameras had turned off and all the lights had dimmed\, Isaac was left only with the horrific images he had seen and the memory of those he was unable to save. His is a story not of a hero basking in the glory of his past deeds\, but of a human being filled with regret that he couldn’t change something completely out of his control. \nSATURDAY\, APRIL 14\n7PM\n1987: When the Day Comes\n129 Minutes / In Korean with English Subtitles / Drama / South Korea\nDirected by: Joon-Hwan Jang\nIn 1987 Korea\, under an oppressive military regime\, a college student gets killed during a police interrogation involving torture. Government officials are quick to cover up the death and order the body to be cremated. A prosecutor who is supposed to sign the cremation release\, raises questions about a 21-year-old kid dying of a heart attack\, and he begins looking into the case for truth. Despite a systematic attempt to silence everyone involved in the case\, the truth gets out\, causing an eruption of public outrage. \nSUNDAY\, APRIL 15\n2:30PM\nPoint of no Return\n94 Minutes / English / Documentary / United States\nDirected by: Kevin Glynn\nSoaring at 26\,000 feet without a drop of fuel\, nothing is predictable. Not the weather\, not the technology. And certainly not the fate of a man\, alone for five days in a fragile\, first-of-its-kind aircraft with nothing but ocean below. POINT OF NO RETURN takes you behind the headlines of the first solar-powered flight around the world – where two courageous pilots take turns battling nature\, their own crew\, and sometimes logic itself\, to achieve the impossible. Not just to make history\, but to inspire a revolution. \n7PM\nThe Fortress\n140 Minutes / In Korean with English Subtitles / Art House & International\, Drama / South Korea\nDirected by: Dong-hyuk Hwang\nDuring the Qing Invasion of Korea\, the king and the court take refuge in a mountain fortress\, where they find themselves stranded in the cold and surrounded by the enemy. The king’s dilemma deepens as his people in the fortress start dying from cold and hunger.

SUMMARY:The Seat of the Soul Yoga - Asiana Harper & Christine Miller
DESCRIPTION:THE SEAT OF THE SOUL YOGA RETREAT: AN ELEMENTAL PRACTICE OF PRESENCE \nAwaken your senses through this experiential retreat\, The Seat of the Soul: An elemental practice of presence. Over seven days\, our journey will access the gateways of presence using yoga\, breathwork\, meditation and intrinsic movement. Allow the elements of this beautiful location in Chacala\, Mexico\, to stir the earth\, water\, fire\, air and ether both within our bodies and all around us. This retreat is a fine blend of spiritual and somatic discovery that can reveal a place which is often called the seat of the soul\, that point where our inner and outer experience meet. \nEach day will begin with the ritual of movement and stillness\, to anchor us in the tone of presence. Other activities such as hiking\, swimming\, dancing and fire ceremony will delve us deeper into synchronization with the biorhythms of nature. What might we find in the stirring of our watery hearts? Is our path determined by the flame of desire or the tread of connection from sole to earth? Together\, we’ll explore these questions and so many more. \nThe Seat of the Soul is available to all levels of practitioners. This retreat will meet you exactly where you are as a supportive foundation to break through limiting beliefs\, to intimately experience the mind-body connection and to provide tools to harness the most powerful portal in all experience: the power of the present moment. \nINCLUDED\n • 7 nights accommodations\n • 3 meals a day\n • Transportation to/from PVR airport in group shuttle\n • Daily yoga and movement meditation\n • Elemental Playshops\n • Fire circle\n • All Taxes

SUMMARY:The Seat of the Soul Yoga Retreat to Mexico
DESCRIPTION:THE SEAT OF THE SOUL YOGA RETREAT:\nAN ELEMENTAL PRACTICE OF PRESENCE \nWith Asiana Harper And Christine Miller \nSaturday\, April 14 – Saturday\, April 21\, 2017 \nMAR DE JADE\, MEXICO \nAwaken your senses through this experiential retreat\, The Seat of the Soul: An elemental practice of presence. \nEarly Bird = Sign up by November 15th to get $250 off \nREGISTER HERE:\nhttp://bellaretreats.com/bella-retreats/seat-soul-yoga-retreat/

SUMMARY:Art of Song w/ The Severly Brothers
DESCRIPTION:THE SEVERLY BROTHERS\nMARTY AXELROD & SEVERIN BROWNE\nAll ages\, 6-9pm\, $10 \nhttps://youtu.be/6p9nxwQB9Vg \nMarty and Severin are members of the Los Angeles-based\, six-man songwriter collective Tall Men Group. They are known to be among the finest singer-songwriters on the LA scene. When\nSeverin and Marty sing together as a duo\, playing guitar and keyboards\, they’re known as The Severly Brothers. \nSeverin Browne is a sought-after guest in many singer-songwriter festivals and shows\, and is regarded as one of the most delightful performers in the Los Angeles area. His brilliant lyrics invite listeners into the songs while his solid melodies carry the story from one note to the next. \nBerry Gordy offered Severin a staff songwriting deal just as Motown was moving to Hollywood. Six months later\, Severin signed with Motown Records as an artist and made two LPs. Severin’s Moo Records title "From the Edge of the World” included songs used in the indie film "Plan B"\nstarring Jon Cryer\, and in the Japanese classic “My Friend Totoro”. Severin’s next CDs\, “This Twisted Road” and “Lucky Man”\, were produced by Ed Tree. Severin teaches guitar and\nsongwriting at his home in Los Angeles and performs with The Tall Men Group. For more information see http://www.severinbrowne.com. \nMarty Axelrod is the keyboardist member Tall Men Group\, for whom he has written such fan favorites as “I Made Fire”\, “9 Cats” and “The South”. Marty’s songs have been recorded by the likes of Judy Collins\, folk legend Theodore Bikel\, blues powerhouse Linda Hopkins\, the country band Emerson Drive\, and indie powerhouse Kelly Fitzgerald. \nMarty’s songs have adorned the soundtracks of HBO’s “True Blood”\, “Friday Night Lights”\, and a truly terrible Patrick Swayze movie…but Mr. Swayze did dance to his song! Marty is proud to\nhave produced and co-written\, with Nicole Gordon\, the critically-acclaimed concept album “Songs of Shiloh”. He also wrote the songs for “Emperor Norton the Musical”\, which had four\nsuccessful runs in San Francisco and Los Angeles. As a keyboardist\, Marty has recently lent his stylings to records by Leslie Beauvais\, Jaynee Thorne\, Laura Zucker and Britta Lee Shain\, and to live performances by Allan Rich\, Theater\nSports\, Aireene Espiritu\, Brian Woodbury and many more. As a man\, his proudest\naccomplishments are a 35-year marriage and two amazing kids. Please search YouTube Marty\nAxelrod to hear/see his work.
