This wonderful combination releases long held tension\, and gifts us with the space to hear and understand the language of our individual bodies. \nJoin us as we recalibrate our bodies from top to bottom!  All bodies and all levels are welcome\, as this will be a a joyful exploration into our personal yoga experience. SUMMARY:Flower Vases of Tea Ceremony Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The hanaire (flower vase) with chabana (flowers) and ojiku (scroll) are prominently displayed in the alcove of a tea room.  Each guest in a tea ceremony visits the alcove and respectfully views these tea utensils prior to the tea ceremony (sadou).  As such\, the hanaire plays a very important role in sadou.  This exhibit of traditional hanaire is presented by Shofu Kai\, a group of ceramists at the Hawai’i Potters’ Guild who have been studying together to learn about the artistry of utensils used in the Japanese tea ceremony\, a cornerstone of Japanese culture.
