SUMMARY:Zumba with Suelang in Kapa'au
DESCRIPTION:❃Hey Loves ❃ \nEden's happy to be DJ at Hawi Ecstatic Dance on Thurs 27th at Kohala Village Hub. Since we're coming Kohala way I'd Love to share another luscious Zumba workout with you all. Come on and play… it's such fun. I'd Love to share happy Zumba energies with you sweet Beings xxx \nNo previous experience necessary. Bring water (preferably in a reusable container if you can please xx) and be ready to sweat\, smile and feel great. All fitness levels welcome. (Not just for ladies by the way). Come one\, come all. I Love you! \nTHURSDAY 27th Oct 5:30pm. 54-3877 Akoni Pule Highway\, Kapa'au. See you there xxx \nIf you are wondering why I am giving thumbs down in the photo… It's not because Zumba with me is thumbs down. Check what's in my other hand… 3 PLASTIC ONE TIME USE STRAWS that were left sticking in the sand!!! Terrible. Gut wrenching. Unnecessary! \nIf you are not familiar with the unhealthy addiction humans have with drinking straws and the negative impact it's having on our planet\, I recommend a quick peek here: http://www.onegreenplanet.org/animalsandnature/plastic-straws-and-the-environment/ \nThis is not a one off occurrence. We Love this beach and enjoy the privilege of it's beauty weekly. Every single visit we pick up handfuls of human rubbish\, much that has been mindlessly left in the sand. Finding trash that has been specifically buried is especially distressing. It's hard to think that some people do not understand and/or care how wrong this unconscious behavior is on so many levels. \nStraws are especially prevalent here. Sea turtles swimming back and forth across the bay and around the reef edge are not uncommon. If you haven't seen the heartbreaking (but with a positive ending\, I promise) video of how straws and sea turtles aren't a good combo – please\, take the time to familiarse yourself. This is what drives me to bring this to your attention. There are many issues on this planet\, I know. But this is something close to home\, that we can at least try to encourage positive change:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wH878t78bw \nThe Hapuna Prince Hotel and the 3 Frogs Grill up in the carpark at Hapuna Beach. BOTH of these businesses give straws out to their customers. Given their close proximity to the ocean and the fact that most of their customers are likely not necessarily educated on the extreme devastation single-use plastics are wreaking on our planet\, it is important that both establishments are made aware of their negative impact. \nHere's the contact info for both. It'll only take a few moments of your time to shoot them a quick (or lengthy 😉 note voicing your concerns. If we all unite as a collective group we will be heard. So let's get on it friends. I know we can make a difference. \nHapuna Prince Beach Hotel: https://www.princeresortshawaii.com/feedback \n3 Frogs Hapuna:\nThere's no contact info listed online so I'll get a number or email next time I'm there to update here. \nLove you xxx \n<3 <3

SUMMARY:Live Nation and BAMP Project Presents Daryl Hall and John Oats with special guest Henry Kapono
DESCRIPTION:– Live Nation and BAMP Project present Daryl Hall and John Oates performing live in Honolulu at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena\, Thursday\, October 27th\, 2016 with Special Guest Henry Kapono. \nDaryl Hall and John Oates are the NUMBER-ONE SELLING DUO in music history! \nStarting out as two devoted disciples of earlier soul greats\, Daryl Hall and John Oates are soul survivors in their own right. They have become such musical influences on some of today’s popular artists that the September 2006 cover of Spin Magazine’s headline read: “Why Hall and Oates are the New Velvet Underground.” Their artistic fan base includes Rob Thomas\, John Mayer\, Brandon Flowers of the Killers\, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie and MTV’s newest hipsters Gym Class Heroes who dubbed their tour “Daryl Hall for President Tour 2007.” One of the most sampled artists today\, their impact can be heard everywhere from boy band harmonies\, to neo-soul to rap-rock fusion. \nFrom the mid-’70s to the mid-’80s\, the duo would score six #1 singles\, including “Rich Girl”\, “Kiss on My List\,” “Private Eyes\,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)”\, “Maneater” and “Out of Touch” from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums. The era would also produce an additional 5 Top 10 singles\, “Sara Smile\,” “One on One\,” “You Make My Dreams\,” “Say It Isn’t So” and “Method of Modern Love.” \nDaryl also wrote the H&O single “Everytime You Go Away\,” which singer Paul Young scored a number-one hit with a cover of the song in 1985. \nThat same year\, Daryl and John\, participated in the historic “We Are the World” session as well as closing the Live Aid show in Philadelphia. \nBy 1987\, the R.I.A.A. recognized Daryl Hall and John Oates as the NUMBER-ONE SELLING DUO in music history\, a record they still hold today. \nOn May 20\, 2008\, the duo was honored with the Icon Award during BMI’s 56th annual Pop Awards. The award has previously gone to the Bee Gees\, Crosby\, Stills & Nash\, Paul Simon\, Brian Wilson\, Willie Nelson\, James Brown\, Ray Davies\, Carlos Santana and Dolly Parton. \nIn 2014\, Daryl and John were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And\, with the fortieth anniversary of their biggest selling album\, Big Bam Boom\, 2014 finds Daryl Hall and John Oates very much at the height of their powers making their own kind of soul\, with a new generation of musicians recognizing not only their historic track record of success\, but also their continuing influence and achievements. Tickets go on sale to the General Public Thursday\, May 26th at 10:00 am at the locations listed below. This is an all ages event. \nDoors: 6:30pm (All ages)\nShow: 7:30pm (All ages)\nPrices: $59.50 – $129.50 in advance plus applicable fees\, increase day of the show plus applicable fees
