DESCRIPTION:Fascia is dense\, tough tissue that surrounds muscles and bones. Fascia can be released through 3 main processes: compression\, stretching\, and twisting. Myofascial release utilizes compression while Yin yoga uses supported yoga poses to stretch and twist the fascia. Releasing fascia can improve mobility\, reduce tension and pressure in the musculoskeletal system\, decrease pain\, and improve circulation. Please bring 2 tennis balls. Each step in the process of turning fiber into paper will be covered:  havesting\, beating\, cooking\, blending and sheet formation…from “seed to shee.”  We will create paper coverng a variety of design techniques embedding materials such as dried flowers\, seeds\, thread\, and also explore the creation of three-dimensional forms.
