Permaculture tools and techniques focus on easy and practical ways to create food abundance at home. Every class is a blend of practical theory and hands on projects. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening discussion of the poetry of Emily Dickinson with presenter Carol Hogard. This lecture will begin with a short selection of Dickinson’s nature poetry and poems that illustrate extreme psychological states.\nThere will also be a brief sample of poems illustrating her relationship to her internal force:  a muse/daemon spirit—the genius of poetry and a brief introduction to recently available “scrap” poems: “GEORGEOUS NOTHINGS” and the “ENVELOPE POEMS”.\nFinally\, attendees will learn how to enter her work using the Hawaii Library system’s collection.
