DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, July 23rd from 1-3pm\nSunday\, August 27th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, September 24th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, October 29th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, December 3rd from 1-3pm\nRaja Yoga workshops incorporate all eight limbs of yoga; perfect for the intermediate or long-term yoga practitioner to explore the depths of yoga that normal weekly practices hint at but rarely reveal. These practices will begin with structured asana and flow sequences\, segue into restorative yoga\, and then finish with pranayama and meditation. Each class will incorporate a theme and teachings from classic yogic texts\, Ayurveda or mindfulness readings. Hands-on adjustments will be offered to participants who want them. This is Amanda's favorite type of practice and she is looking forward to offering these classes at Yoga Centered!

Mike Epps will play Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall on Saturday\, July 22\, 2017 for what promises to be an unforgettable night of laughs. His October 30th show at Maui Arts & Cultural Center has been cancelled. Refunds are available at point of purchase for ticket buyers. \nMike returned this summer in season two of the Starz series Survivor's Remorse produced LeBron James and Mike O’Malley. He won a 2016 NAACP Image award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal as Uncle Julius. Mike can also currently be seen starring in ABC series Uncle Buck as Uncle Buck\, a fun loving but irresponsible guy who needs a job and a place to stay. The show is based on the 1989 film starring John Candy. Mike currently stars in the comedy Meet the Blacks which he also executive produced. \nIn Fall of 2016\, he will start production on The Weinstein Film Pryor starring opposite Oprah Winfrey\, Eddie Murphy and Kate Hudson as the legendary comedian Richard Pryor. Written by Bill Condon and Danny Strong\, the film will bring to life the comedians ground breaking accomplishments to the stand up stage\, TV and films. \nHe was recently seen in HBO-Emmy Winning bio-pic Bessie based on Bessie Smith\, played by Queen Latifah. The film chronicles how Smith overcame her tempestuous personal life to become one of the most acclaimed performing and recording artists of the 1920s and '30s\, earning the nickname Empress of the Blues. Mike plays Richard Morgan\, a bootlegger and romantic interest to Bessie Smith. The film also won a Critics Choice Award for “best mini-series/movie.” \nIn 2011\, he was awarded an NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Sony Pictures film\, Jumping the Broom. He continued to receive critical praise for his dramatic turn in 2012 with Sparkle\, opposite Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks. He further pursued his dramatic side with two important roles: starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie in the Lionsgate thriller\, Repentance\, being released through Lionsgate/Codeblack Entertainment.\, followed by the independent Nina Simone biopic\, Nina\, starring Zoe Saldana. In Nina\, he plays the legendary Richard Pryor\, who opened for the singer in the early 60's. \nMike also continues to headline his Mike Epps Live shows across the country. In 2009\, Mike headlined his hugely successful stand-up special\, Mike Epps: Underrated and Never Faded\, and in 2011 introduced the world to new comedic talent with\, Mike Epps Presents…\, both which aired on Showtime. He also released his first comedy rap album called Funny Bidness: Da Album. The album featured Snoop Dogg\, Kid Rock\, and Slim Thug to name a few. That year also marked the release of his comedy DVD Funny Bidness. With his undying love for hip-hop\, Mike hosted the BET Hip-Hop Awards from 2009-2012. He'll continue comedic hosting duties this fall with Shaq's Comedy All-Stars set to air on Showtime.
