The son of wealthy restauranteur Rocky Aoki\, he is of Japanese heritage and calls Los Angeles home. In 2007 he released his first official mix CD\, Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles\, on Thrive Records. Featuring tracks by Justice\, Klaxons\, Mystery Jets\, Peaches\, Datarock\, Yelle\, Franz Ferdinand\, Bloc Party\, and Scanners — most of them remixed — Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles is fairly representative of Aoki's renown as a taste-making dance party DJ rather than a skillful turntablist. \nIn 2009 his remix work brought rapper Drake's single “Forever” to the dancefloor\, while 2010 saw him release the “I'm in the House” single with Zuper Blahq\, alter ego of Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. Further high-profile artists' material was also reworked by Aoki during this period\, with tracks by Michael Jackson\, the Killers\, and Lenny Kravitz all benefiting; while collaborations with like-minded producers such as Armand van Helden and the Bloody Beetroots continued to appear on Dim Mak. Orvis OperaStudio and Orvis Young Voices Studio.The Oteys will work for two weeks with singers focusing on individual coaching sessions\, group sessions\, and an intensive weekend with the high school singers of the Orvis Young Voices Studio. \nThis series of work will culminate in a concert\, with the Oteys joining Studio Members on stage at the historic Kawaiaha’o Church\, on Friday\, December 9. Singers will be accompanied by the incomparable Beebe Freitas on the church’s exquisite Bösendorfer grand piano. \nAbout the Oteys:  \nLouis Todaro-Otey: Baritone\nA major stage personality noted for his incisive interpretations\, Louis Otey has performed with the leading opera companies of the world. Notable roles in his repertoire include all of the leading Verdi roles (including Falstaff)\, Puccini (including Jack Rance\, Scarpia\, Michele\, and Gianni Schicchi)\, important French roles such the Four Villains in Les Contes d’Hoffman. \nHe made his Metropolitan Opera debut as Mr. Astley in Prokofiev’s The Gambler and his European debut as the title role in Eugene Onegin in Basel. The New York Times describes him as “ardent and moving. DESCRIPTION:Go to BampProject.com home page\, bottom right hand corener to sign up while there's still time! \nGeneral Public Tickets available Friday\, September 30th at 10am at: BampProject.com  \nThe opening lineup of Dim Mak artists performing will be announced soon. \nSteve Aoki is a DJ and also the founder of Dim Mak Records\, which has counted leading indie rock bands such as Gossip\, Bloc Party\, the Kills\, and the Rakes among its stable of signees. The son of wealthy restauranteur Rocky Aoki\, he is of Japanese heritage and calls Los Angeles home. In 2007 he released his first official mix CD\, Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles\, on Thrive Records. Featuring tracks by Justice\, Klaxons\, Mystery Jets\, Peaches\, Datarock\, Yelle\, Franz Ferdinand\, Bloc Party\, and Scanners — most of them remixed — Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles is fairly representative of Aoki's renown as a taste-making dance party DJ rather than a skillful turntablist. \nIn 2009 his remix work brought rapper Drake's single “Forever” to the dancefloor\, while 2010 saw him release the “I'm in the House” single with Zuper Blahq\, alter ego of Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. Further high-profile artists' material was also reworked by Aoki during this period\, with tracks by Michael Jackson\, the Killers\, and Lenny Kravitz all benefiting; while collaborations with like-minded producers such as Armand van Helden and the Bloody Beetroots continued to appear on Dim Mak. By the end of 2011\, the early fruits of sessions for his debut album\, Wonderland\, had materialized as the singles “Earthquakey People” — a collaboration with Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo — and “Tornado\,” on which Aoki combined forces with the multi-award-winning Tiësto.  \nIn 2012 he released his first EP\, It's the End of the World as We Know It. More collaborations followed in 2013\, with Aoki reworking a Linkin Park track for the group's remix album Recharged. The resulting “A Light That Never Comes” was released as a single alongside several more remixes. In 2014 he announced details of a forthcoming album titled Neon Future. Marketed as a two-part record\, the first installment arrived later in the year with Fall Out Boy\, will.i.am and Waka Flocka Flame among its guests. Neon Future\, Vol. 2 followed in 2015 with guest appearances from Rivers Cuomo\, Snoop Dogg\, and J.J. Abrams.

DESCRIPTION:Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings at a Las Vegas coffee house. He is now selling out clubs across the nation and has appeared on over 100 episodes of “Chelsea Lately.” His infectious\, explosive energy on stage\, insightful jokes\, and family inspired humor across all boundaries. Jo\, who was raised in Tacoma\, WA\, credits his mother for his comedic and acting talents. She encouraged him to participate in school talent shows and to hold impromptu performances for his family and friends. \nThis loving support led to performances at a Las Vegas coffee house and inspired a move to Los Angeles. In 2005\, Jo had the “opportunity of a lifetime” with a performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
