SUMMARY:BAMP Project presents Pennywise
DESCRIPTION:BAMP Project presents Pennywise performing live in Honolulu at The Republik\, Saturday\, August 8th\, 2015. Tickets go on sale Friday\, June 5th at 9:00am at the locations listed below. This is an all ages accompanied by an adult event. \nIf you think you know Pennywise\, think again. Though the band has made a name for themselves over the past 26 years as a politically minded\, melodic hardcore act who have sold millions of albums. They have become one of the most successful independent acts of all time\, however they weren't always this way. In fact the group got their start playing backyard parties in their hometown of Hermosa Beach\, California\, without having any aspirations other than playing as many songs as they could before the police showed up. This side of the band has never been captured until now\, and Yesterdays sees the band putting some of their nascent material in proper recorded form for the first time ever. \nNot only is this the perfect way to welcome the band's original vocalist Jim Lindberg back into the fold but Yesterdays is also in many ways a homage to Pennywise's original bassist\, Jason Thirsk\, who wrote a bulk of the lyrics and music to these songs in the late 80s (Thirsk subsequently passed away in 1996). “Jason was the emotional core of Pennywise and his songwriting was very much about PMA (positive mental attitude) and that's really what initially drew me to the band and where we started out\,” Lindberg explains. “The punk scene had became really cynical and confused in the late eighties and it seemed like the only bands that were doing anything inspiring were the one's singing about positivity and unity and heading in a new direction.” \nDetails on the Show: \nWhere: The Republik\, 1349 Kapiolani Blvd 3rd Floor\, Honolulu\, HI 96814 \nWhen: Saturday\, August 8\, 2015 \nLounge Doors: 6:00pm (21 and over) \nHall: 7:00pm (All ages accompanied by an Adult) \nShow: 8:00pm (All ages accompanied by an Adult) \nPrices: $32.00 Regular General Admission in Advance plus applicable fees\, increase day of the show plus applicable fees. \nTickets available at 9:00am June 5th at: \nBampproject.com / Jointherepublik.com / Flavorus.com / Local Motion Stores / Navy/Hickam ITT Offices / Army LTS Offices / UH Campus Center / The Safehouse (the Lounge within The Republik) Tuesday thru Saturday 6:00pm until 1:00am with a $2.00 Service Fee per ticket / The Republik Box Office Monday thru Friday 9:00am until 6:00pm with a $2.00 Service Fee per ticket \nIf you aren’t familiar with Pennywise\, visit http://pennywisdom.com/ \nHigh-resolution photos and interviews upon request. \nMahalo to our sponsors ROCKSTAR Energy Drink\, Bud light\, and Wahoos.

SUMMARY:Rockstar Energy Drink presents All Time Low
DESCRIPTION:Rockstar Energy Drink US PRESENTS\nAll Time Low\nAT The Republik\nSUNDAY\, AUGUST 9th\, 2015\nTickets on sale April 10th 9am \nROCKSTAR Energy Drink presents All Time Low performing live in Honolulu at The Republik\, Sunday\, August 9th\, 2015. Tickets go on sale Friday\, April 10th at 9:00am at the locations listed below. This is an all ages accompanied by an adult event. \nWhile sizable chunks of high school graduates received their diplomas at the end of the school year unsure on what sort of career path they'll embark\, the members of Baltimore-area pop-punk quartet All Time Low have an exact idea of where they'll be headed straight into the van and in the studio for a full-time career in music. These class of 2006 high school graduates have spent most of their high school careers developing their sound\, refining their live sets and gaining valuable recording experience through their years in All Time Low. And they're exiting their senior years with the talent and knowledge in hand to take their craft seriously\, primarily via the release of their Hopeless/Sub City debut\, Put Up Or Shut Up. Kick-starting with the melody-drenched opener “Coffee Shop Soundtrack\,” Put Up Or Shut Up winds the listener through the various hallways of All Time Low's musical safe house\, including the seamless\, stuttered chorus accents of “Break Out! Break Out!\,” the swaying\, waltz-esque rhythms of “Lullabies” and the stunning vocal harmonies of “The Girl's A Straight-Up Hustler.” \nFinally done with schoolwork and able to concentrate full-time on music\, the group issued Put Up or Shut Up — a seven-song EP that mostly featured new recordings of older material — that July. All Time Low supported the EP's release with a handful of Warped Tour dates before hitting the road again with Amber Pacific. So Wrong\, It's Right appeared in 2007\, marking the band's first full-length release for Hopeless. After being named 2008's Band of the Year by Alternative Press\, All Time Low returned with their second album\, Nothing Personal\, in July 2009. Debuting at number four on the Billboard charts\, Nothing Personal helped make All Time Low one of the top emo-pop acts in the business. \nDirty Work\, featuring the single “I Feel Like Dancin'\,” was released in 2011. The album reached number six on the Billboard charts the week it was released\, and the band hit the road. In 2012\, All Time Low announced they had parted ways with Interscope and released a new song\, “The Reckless and the Brave\,” on their website in June. Soon after\, they re-signed with Hopeless and began work on a new album. Don't Panic was released in November of 2012\, then reissued almost a year later with four newly recorded songs and four acoustic versions under the name Don't Panic: It's Longer Now! The band returned in early 2015 with its sixth record\, Future Hearts. \nA local opening act will be announced soon.\nProduced by BAMP Project. \nDetails on the Show:\nLounge Doors: 6:00pm (21 and over)\nHall: 7:00pm (All ages accompanied by an Adult)\nShow: 8:00pm (All ages accompanied by an Adult) \nPrices: $29.50 Regular General Admission in Advance plus applicable fees\, increase day of the show plus applicable fees. \nTickets available at 9:00am April 10th at:\nBampproject.com / Jointherepublik.com / Flavorus.com / Local Motion Stores / Navy/Hickam ITT Offices / Army LTS Offices / UH Campus Center / About The Goods / The Safehouse (the Lounge within The Republik) Tuesday thru Saturday 6:00pm until 1:00am with a $2.00 Service Fee per ticket / The Republik Box Office Monday thru Friday 9:00am until 6:00pm with a $2.00 Service Fee per ticket \nIf you aren’t familiar with All Time Low visit http://www.alltimelow.com
