SUMMARY:BAMP Project presents Kimie Miner Album Launch Party
DESCRIPTION:BAMP Project and Arium present Kimié Miner’s Album Launch Party live in Honolulu at the Republik\, Friday\, October 23rd\, 2015. Tickets are on sale now at all the locations listed below. This is an All Ages accompanied by an Adult event. \n Kimié Miner is a singer-songwriter who carries the intimacy of her Hawaiian upbringing and amplifies it through a global lens on her upcoming self-titled album (being independently released on October 9\, 2015). A songwriter since she was 14 years old\, Kimié (pronounced Kimi-ay)\, of Hawaiian and Portuguese decent\, takes many of her influences and mixes it into her own unique style weaving between Reggae\, Soul\, R&B\, Jazz\, Hawaiian\, and Pop on her 11-track album. \nThis album sees Kimié coming into her own as an artist from her journey of world travels\, her residency in Los Angeles\, and her reconnection to her native Hawaiian roots. Although she put out a few releases\, Kimié’s new album is a re-introduction to her and her music and is aptly titled Kimié Miner. The theme for the album is land\, which Kimié states\, “It’s about our connection to the land and the seasons we experience both in our surroundings and within ourselves.” The album\, recorded in Los Angeles\, Indianapolis\, and Hawaiʻi\, was written and produced closely with Billy Van. Other great collaborators include Caleb Keolanui (The Green) on “Love’s In The Melody\,” and additional production from Imua Garza\, Matt Honda\, and Scott Wilks. \nThrough The Roots and Hirie will be the opening acts. \nDetails on the Show:\nWhere: The Republik\, 1349 Kapiolani Blvd 3rd Floor\, Honolulu\, HI 96814\nWhen: Friday\, October 23rd\, 2015\nLounge Doors: 6:00pm (21 and up)\nHall Doors: 7:00pm (All Ages accompanied by an Adult)\nShow: 8:00pm (All Ages accompanied by an Adult) \nTickets available at:\nBampproject.com / Jointherepublik.com / Flavorus.com / Local Motion Stores / Navy/Hickam ITT Offices / Army LTS Offices / UH Campus Center / The Safehouse (the Lounge within The Republik) Tuesday thru Saturday 6:00pm until 1:00am with a $2.00 per ticket Service Fee / The Republik Box Office Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. \nIf you’re not familiar with Kimie Miner please visit http://www.kimieminer.com/home/#kimie-music
