SUMMARY:Lemonade Alley
DESCRIPTION:What’s better than a keiki entrepreneur? A whole BUNCH of them\, plus lemonade! This Saturday\, adjacent to the Pearlridge Farmers’ Market you can check out the culmination of a whole lot of hard work! At its core\, Lemonade Alley is just a lemonade stand contest. K-12 students build stands. They sell lemonade. But the “twist” is that they do it for charities of their choice. This makes Lemonade Alley an all-in-one innovation challenge\, entrepreneurial contest and charitable giving program. For youth\, it’s about empowerment and finding the hero within. For adults\, it’s a chance to play like a kid again and strengthen family\, professional and community relationships.

SUMMARY:Bamp Project Presents: Colbie Caillat
DESCRIPTION:BAMP Project presents Colbie Caillat\nat the Hawaii Theatre Center\nSaturday\, April 8th \nFor the first time in her decade-long career\, Colbie Caillat has made an album exactly the way she wanted. It’s also the first for her newly minted label\, PlummyLou Records\, distributed by RED. \nEschewing traditional recording studios\, the Grammy Award-winning\, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter—and renowned beach lover— recorded The Malibu Sessions\, out Oct. 7\, over a two-month period in a rented house in Southern California’s beautiful Broad Beach. The result is a sun-kissed collection of breezy\, buoyant\, yet often vulnerable\, songs\, with timeless harmonies\, catchy melodies and a harmonious vibe that recalls classic ‘70s rock. \nCaillat recorded The Malibu Sessions in 2013\, but her then-label\, Republic Records\, wanted her to go in a different direction. She temporarily shelved The Malibu Sessions and released 2014’s Gypsy Heart\, which spawned the hit single\, “Try\,” and its video which had drawn more than 64 million views. \nTickets available to the General Public Friday\, February 17th at 9:00am\nBampProject.com / HawaiiTheatre.com / Hawaii Theatre Box Office / Charge by phone at 808.528.0506. \nThis will be a ages 4 and up event.
