SUMMARY:BAMP Project presents Atmosphere: Freshwater Fly Fisherman Tour
DESCRIPTION:Defining success is not an exact science by any means. In some ways\, it’s especially difficult to quantify one’s success when they have a job that places them in the public eye\, a position that is ripe for critique and high expectations. Perhaps those who best thrive in those scenarios are the ones who can navigate through all noise and continue to evolve and grow\, both in their skill sets and as individuals. \nOver their twenty-year career\, Atmosphere has managed to continually tweak and strive to perfect their formula\, while neither straying too far off their path\, nor resorting to playing it safe. Starting at 1997’s Overcast\, the group’s first official album\, and traveling through 18 years of new albums\, side projects (e.g. the Sad Clown series and Felt)\, and various collaborations\, all the way up until 2014’s Southsiders album\, Atmosphere’s music has evolved in a way that differs from many of their peers and predecessors. \nAs Atmosphere steps into their 21st year of making music\, Slug & Ant show no signs of slowing\, compromising or losing sight of their vision. Nor has time revealed any diminishing of those qualities that have brought them this far. As 2016 swung into gear\, Atmosphere had already ended the previous year and led into another with a string of singles\, and still have an abundance of music on the way\, including their latest album\, “Fishing Blues”. \nSpecial guests featuring Brother Ali\, deM atlas\, Plain Ole Bill and Last Word. \nLounge Doors: 6:00pm (21 and up)\nHall Doors: 7:00pm (All ages accompanied by an adult)\nShow: 8:00pm (All ages accompanied by an adult)\nPrices: $27.00 in advance plus applicable fees\, increase day of show plus applicable fees \nTickets available Wednesday\, August 26th\, 2016 at 9AM:\nBampProject.com / JointheRepublik.com / Flavorus.com / Local Motion Stores / Navy / Hickam ITT Offices / Army LTS Offices / UH Campus Center / The Safehouse (the Lounge within The Republik) Tuesday through Saturday 6:00pm until 1:00am with a $2.00 service fee per ticket / The Republik Box Office Tuesday through Friday 10:00am until 6:00pm with a $2.00 service fee per ticket

SUMMARY:Intro to Flow Series
DESCRIPTION:Intro to Flow Series with Amanda Webster\, ERYT-500\nDates: Saturday\, November 5th and December 3rd\nTime: 12:30-2:30\nFees: $35 for both OR $20/workshop \nWe often think of Vinyasa or Flow classes as being faster or more intense than a Hatha or Basics class\, and while that may sometimes be true\, at their essence\, Flow classes teach you to maintain an attentive\, centered mind-state while transitioning from one point in time to the next\, which is called Vinyasa Krama: “To link together with attention and care in a way that mimics nature”. It teaches us to maintain the steadiness and ease we've established in the stillness of a single pose as we transition from one pose to the next in a breath-centric way…it helps us train the mind and body to roll with the waves of life even in moments of chaos or stress.\nIn these workshops\, apply your understanding of alignment principles and breathing techniques as we gently and fluidly transition from one asana to the next in a meditative\, rhythmic flow. We will break down common sequences into layers\, such as plank to cobra to downward facing dog. Find a layer that works for you and figure out how to accommodate injuries in your body and prevent other injuries from occurring; there will be an emphasis on protecting the joints and using the core! Each class will begin with a 45- or 60-minute breakdown of poses and transition then segue into a flow practice. \nThese workshops are a continuation of the knowledge established in our Beginner's Series and will eliminate any intimidation or satisfy any curiosity you may have about taking the next step into a Flow-based practice. This is also a great way to refresh your existing vinyasa practice!

SUMMARY:Meditative Coloring
DESCRIPTION:Can you remember the sense of peace and enjoyment you felt while coloring as a child? Can coloring help you relax? \nFrom choosing colors to the gentle\, repetitive motion of your hands as you bring color to paper\, coloring can be seen as a form of “active meditation”. With active meditation\, it is just the opposite: repetitive motions such as coloring cna help strengthen your focus and easily shift your attention back to a relaxed state. Stressful thoughts and future worries can be simply pushed aside as you take time to enjoy the present. Join us every Saturday for this mellow\, relaxing event. \nProgram schedule is subject to change. Program is suitable for ages 16 and older. All materials will be supplied. SUMMARY:BAMP Project Presents Atmosphere: Freshwater Fly Fishermen Tour
\nLounge Doors: 6:00pm (21 and up)\nHall Doors: 7:00pm (All ages accompanied by an adult)\nShow: 8:00pm (All ages accompanied by an adult)\nPrices: $27.00 in advance plus applicable fees\, increase day of show plus applicable fees \nTickets available Friday\, August 26th\, 2016 at 9AM:\nBampProject.com / JointheRepublik.com / Flavorus.com / Local Motion Stores / Navy / Hickam ITT Offices / Army LTS Offices / UH Campus Center / The Safehouse (the Lounge within The Republik) Tuesday through Saturday 6:00pm until 1:00am with a $2.00 service fee per ticket / The Republik Box Office Tuesday through Friday 10:00am until 6:00pm with a $2.00 service fee per ticket
