DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, May 1\, celebrate Lei Day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Kapi‘olani Park’s bandstand. Lei Day began in 1928 as a way to perpetuate the wearing of lei; it brought together a community\, with many people stringing their own lei to wear during the day.
