SUMMARY:Hanaire of Sadou Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The hanaire (flower vase) with chabana (flowers) and ojiku (scroll) are prominently displayed in the alcove of a tea room. This exhibit of traditional hanaire is presented by Shofu Kai\, a group of ceramists at the Hawai’i Potters’ Guild who have been studying together to learn about the artistry of utensils used in the Japanese tea ceremony\, a cornerstone of Japanese culture.
