SUMMARY:Raja Yoga Series with Amanda Webster
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, July 23rd from 1-3pm\nSunday\, August 27th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, September 24th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, October 29th from 1-3pm\nSunday\, December 3rd from 1-3pm\nRaja Yoga workshops incorporate all eight limbs of yoga; perfect for the intermediate or long-term yoga practitioner to explore the depths of yoga that normal weekly practices hint at but rarely reveal. These practices will begin with structured asana and flow sequences\, segue into restorative yoga\, and then finish with pranayama and meditation. Each class will incorporate a theme and teachings from classic yogic texts\, Ayurveda or mindfulness readings. Hands-on adjustments will be offered to participants who want them. This is Amanda's favorite type of practice and she is looking forward to offering these classes at Yoga Centered!

SUMMARY:Hatha Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Most forms of yoga in the West can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures\, meaning your Ashtanga\, vinyasa\, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful\,” or the yoga of activity\, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha)\, the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body\, mind\, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

DESCRIPTION:This class is taught by Andi Gil — The Charleston is a dance named for the harbor city of Charleston\, South Carolina. The rhythm was popularized in mainstream dance music in the United States by a 1923 tune called “The Charleston” by composer/pianist James P. SUMMARY:Electrik Frydaze: 6 Year Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:Hard to believe it's already been a year since we decided to change Big Island's longest running monthly EDM event to an annual celebration. Well that time is upon us\, so let's do it again! \nJoin us for Electrik Frydaze: 6 Year Anniversary!! \nLast year was a blast and we're looking forward to chilling super hard with all of you again this month. It's gonna be DOPE. Request off of work\, lock in a sitter\, book a hotel room\, do whatever you gotta to do to party with the Imagine Family. \nGot a couple of surprises in store\, but this is what's on the DJ menu (minus another legend or two) shhhh \nDrift Juice\nOmik\nRumRunn3r\nShift\nStatic Traveler \nMore info to come!!!! \n$10 cover\n21+ only\n8pm-2am \nElectrik Vodka Lemonades on Special $4 \n“Electrik Frydaze launched in July 2011 by Ekona Ravey and helped pave the way for the Imagine Family to take shape. It first stemmed from simply wanting a place to hear music and gave local talent a shot to take the stage. Frydaze started something without knowing it. Upon Ekona’s departure and in just a few short years Frydaze has grew with Lee\, Josh\, Kimo\, Kahea and the rest of Imagine family at the reigns. It has grew into a full fledged monthly which now brings talent from all over. Deejays’\, Oahu resident Shift\, (3x MaiTai Champ) – Technique\, LW&PC resident – N8\, Big Island & Livewire Native – Jaegurl\, Powerhouse’s – Kaii/PSI showed support in the first few years. Residents Drift Juice\, Omik\, and Simply Sound launch the local audio onslaught to the masses. The continuing support for local talent and yearning for music helped fuel the idea of Imagine Family. Maintaining the spirit of music and family that we all have felt at one point or another. Imagine Family was born and has not looked back.”
