SUMMARY:Movie & Stained Glass Art
DESCRIPTION:Paint or color a beautiful stained glass art based on the story “Beauty and the Beast.” Participants will be recreating the magical rose that represented the Beast’s chance for love and redemption. For those who do not wish to view the movie\, you may start your craft making at 6:00pm. This program is for all ages: Keiki to Kapuna. \nParticipate in our new monthly Art Lab\, which will provide crafters access to supplies that will enable them to express their creativity through various formats: adult/all-ages coloring\, felting\, and limited craft kits. This will not be an instructor led art class but rather open crafting time. However\, occasionally the library will provide access to art or craft kits for keiki to kapuna to use during art lab times. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own supplies or art/craft projects to work on during art lab (with the exception of dangerous tools and equipment) the library reserves the right to deny usage due to safety. This is a space to share and collaborate\, so the sharing of ideas\, skills\, and knowledge is encouraged but not required. \nChildren ages 13 and under are required to be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. \nProgram schedule is subject to change. Contact the library at least 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
