If under 18 you must provide permission from a parent to attend.\n6 pm–9 pm.\n$10 per person.\nStarting promptly at 6 pm\, please arrive a few minutes early. \nThe sessions feature drawing from a nude or partially draped model in a traditional format\, starting with 1 minute gesture drawings and working up to 20 minute poses. Chairs are provided however\, participants must furnish their own drawing materials. Please bring your own drawing board or easel. 11” x 14” or larger pad of paper is recommended. All mediums are fine to use. DESCRIPTION:On behalf of ALEA Bridge and our community partners\, we are excited to invite you to join us for a Christmas celebration!  “Wahiawa Christmas Wonderland” will take place on Saturday\, December 16th from 4p to 9p at 130 California Ave. fronting Ka'ala Elementary School. \nThis block party will feature local entertainment\, food vendors\, gift-giving and a keiki fun zone with activities and inflatables including a mechanical piglet ride!  This event is free and open to the public so bring your family and friends along for an evening of fun!  There will be ample street parking throughout the neighborhood. \nIn the spirit of giving\, we will be offering toys and books to the children who attend and will be providing special gifts to our low-income and houseless neighbors.  This event will also serve as a food drive so we are encouraging the community to bring nonperishable items. \nWe are partnering with Family “n” Friends Fishing Tournament who has chosen the Kahanu Family in their annual sponsorship.  The Kahanu’s are a family of four who have two sons\, ages 12 and 13 year’s old\, with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy (a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscular degeneration and weakness). All proceeds raised at their food booth will be donated to this family and used towards purchasing a van that will allow them to more easily transport their wheelchair-bound children. \nA huge MAHALO and thanks to our partners and sponsors who have helped make this event possible (see attachment). We could not do this without you!  We hope that you can join us for the festivities and celebrate this wonderful Christmas season!

DESCRIPTION:Kahulanui (The Big Dance) is an inspiration passed down three generations. Band leader\, guitarist\, and vocalist Lolena Naipo Jr. remembers stories of his Grandfather who was a member of the Royal Hawaiian Band during an era when horns and drums were a part of Hawaiian music.”Throughout Hawaii in the 1920s and 1930s\, one could find orchestras playing Hawaiian Swing and the house would be jumping.” \nJoining Lolena onstage are Patrick Eskildsen on lead guitar\, electric bass and vocals\, Duke Tatom on ‘ukulele and vocals\, and Tim Taylor on percussion.
