This class will be three of three\, leading up to the Hilo Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 16\, 2017. Balancing Monkey participants will walk together at this event. Your attendance at class helps us to raise money for this cause. There are not a lot of positive things to say about Alzheimer’s. However\, one of the things that truly can make a difference is coming together to support each other and remove the stigma.

Join us as we examine the Hawaiian system of land tenure before Ka Māhele\, explore the reasons behind this major paradigm shift in Hawaiian culture\, and take a look at whether or not the monumental effort was successful. \nThis program is presented by the Friends of the Libraries\, Kona (F.O.L.K.).
