SUMMARY:15th Annual Fall Musical: "9 to 5\, The Musical"
DESCRIPTION:The Palace Theater will produce “9 to 5\, The Musical” for its 15th Annual Fall Musical in October\, running October 7th through the 23rd.  \nThis high energy musical stars three strong female leads and their male boss. Co-workers Violet\, Judy\, and Doralee bond through their mutual frustration with workplace conditions and their obnoxious boss Frankling Hart\, Jr. The trio of women fantasizes about ways to make things better\, including getting rid of Hart altogether.  \nDirecting the show this year is Jeri Gertz\, Musical Director will be Devon Lerma\, and Director of Choreography will be Michael Misita.  \nThis musical promises lots of fun for the audience along with the usual stellar Big Island talent.  \nShow dates and times are October 7\, 8\, 14\, 15\, 21 & 22 at 7pm and October 16 & 23 at 2:30pm. Doors will open 1 hour prior to each showing. \nTickets are $15 in Advance and will be $20 on Day of Show. Take advantage of our Opening Weekend Ticket Special on October 7 & 8 when tickets will remain at $15 on Day of Show.  \nTickets can be purchased at the Palace Theater box office or over the phone with a credit card at 808-934-7010\, M-F\, 10am-3pm.

DESCRIPTION:Intention-Setting & Honoring the Natural Cycles of Life:\nYoga\, Ayurveda\, Mantra\, Meditation & More! \nSunday\, October 9th from 12:30-3:30pm \nThis class will be like a mini-retreat\, an opportunity for you to reflect\, unwind and reconnect! We will open with an Ayurveda-based discussion about daily\, seasonal and other natural rhythms of life that affect the quality of health via our sleep-wake cycles\, metabolism and hormones…assess your current state of health and identify any health goals that you may have. \nThen we will reflect upon the idea of sankalpa\, a vow that is committed to with strong resolve. You will have the time to set your own sankalpa\, perhaps one that you can incorporate into your yoga practices\, meditations or daily mantra for the next several months in a way that will support you and help you keep things in perspective. Then you will have the opportunity to make our own wrist malas before finishing the workshop with a symbolic mandala-inspired yoga practice including a creative vinyasa sequences\, a yoga nidra transition into savasana and a guided meditation session that will incorporate mantra (aloud or silent depending on your comfort level). Tea will be served during the class. \nThis class includes an Ayurveda booklet with self-care practices to help re-establish your body’s natural cycles\, cleansing information and adaptogenic herbal remedies; along with materials to create your own wrist mala (if you would like to create a 64-bead mala instead of the bracelet\, please note the difference in workshop price and register accordingly). \nPlease register by September 12th to reserve your space. \nRegistration with wrist mala: $40 \nRegistration with 64-bead mala: $65
