Their teacher\, Soichi Sakamoto\, was an ordinary man whose swimming ability didn't extend much beyond treading water. \nIn spite of everything\, including the virulent anti-Japanese sentiment of the late 1930s\, in their first year the children outraced Olympic athletes twice their size; in their second year\, they were national and international champs\, shattering American and world records and making headlines from L.A. to Nazi Germany. The artists he has covered range from Bonnie Raitt to Rihanna to Frank Ocean and some—such as James Morrison\, Tori Kelly\, and Jessie J. His passion for music\, inherent skill\, and undeniable charm have earned him a dedicated following of loyal fans who have followed Leroy on his journey and eagerly await his next move. \nLeroy’s hard work and connection to his fans did not go unnoticed.
