DESCRIPTION:Learn to Be Financially Literate at Hawaii State Library May 12 \n“Know Your Legal Rights: How to Be Financially Akamai\,” a free informational program for adults\, will be presented at the Hawaii State Library’s First Floor Reading Room on Thursday\, May 12 at 5:30 p.m.      \nManaging Attorney Dan O’Meara and AmeriCorps Advocate Dominic Jancaterino – two staff members of the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii’s Asset Protection Unit – will provide valuable tips on how consumers can become financially literate when dealing with major issues including planning for and paying bills\, understanding credit reports\, and avoiding debt.  The 90-minute program will include a question-and-answer session.   \nThis program is part of the “Know Your Legal Rights” series conducted by the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii at public libraries.
