SUMMARY:75th Commemoration of the attack on Pearl Harbor
DESCRIPTION:This year\, December 7th\, marks the 75th Commemoration of the attack on Pearl Harbor.  The “day that will live in infamy” will be commemorated with events and activities from Dec. 1-11\, 2016  on Oahu\, promising to be historic for all attending. The four attractions at Pearl Harbor—WWII Valor of the Pacific (Arizona Memorial)\, Battleship Missouri Memorial\, USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Pacific Aviation Museum have unique activities leading up to the commemoration week and into 2017. The U.S. Navy and other branches of the U.S. armed forces\, the National Park Service\, Pacific Historic Sites and the State of Hawai‘i have partnered to ensure that Pearl Harbor “honors the past and inspires the future.”
