The host band is calling itself the “The GJH Band” ( Gospel Jazz Hawaii)\, Rob Yamanoha – gtr/voc\, Tracy Yanagi – bass/voc\, George “Iki” Camarillo – keys/voc\, Owen Matsui – dr )\, and other musicians / singers are invited to participate. There will be 2 mics set up for vocalists and horn players to join in for some background/lead vocals and improv solos. Rhythm players\, please post or private msg me at this site https://www.facebook.com/groups/1112776762082686/\nto let me know what tunes you know and want to do so we can coordinate to have you join in on at least a few. Songs we do will be posted on this site\, with videos\, lyrics\, keys\, solo section chords\, etc. Also\, feel free to post a song in this genre that you'd like to do\, and we can see if we can learn it. ALL singers / musicians / listeners are invited to participate\, knowing there's “praise and worship” involved … of our almighty God and His Son\, Jesus Christ … using our voices and instruments to create some cool grooves\, and improvisations … for His glory. DESCRIPTION:MMN’s next cleanup campaign is “Litter Bugs Me”\, which runs July 11 through 25. This is a concerted effort to keep trash off our highways\, roadways\, and shorelines.  \nWith all that ground to cover\, we ask you to consider choosing a site near your neighborhood that needs some aloha. Invite your family\, friends\, and coworkers to participate in this litter pickup campaign and help the beauty of our home shine! \nRubbish not only looks bad on the road\, but it can also be dangerous–whether it takes flight\, lands as a hazard for drivers to avoid\, or makes its way to the ocean and becomes marine debris. On the flip side\, litter-free roadways and public spaces allow for full enjoyment of the pristine nature around us.  \nLitter begets litter\, and likewise\, the effect of engaging the community to eradicate litter not only gets rid of the trash\, but also helps set a new social standard for preserving the beauty of the public spaces we value. The hope is that we move away from eradicating litter\, to preventing litter happening in the first place.
