The annual Trash Fashion Show\, designed to raise environmental awareness\, shows off attire made entirely from recycled material. \nTickets to the Kona Brewers Festival Main Event on Saturday are available in advance only. Cost is $75 and includes a commemorative event mug\, eight four-ounce brew tasting coupons\, unlimited samplings of gourmet cuisine and an afternoon of entertainment. Tickets are available for purchase online in late January at www.KonaBrewersFestival.com ($5 fee). \nSince its humble beginning in 1996 to celebrate the creation of the Kona Brewing Company\, the festival’s mission is to promote the craft brewing revolution in Hawai’i\, encourage professional brewers and chefs to work together\, and have a positive economic\, educational and environmental effect on the Big Island community. \nThe Festival has grown to include a Brewer’s Pa’ina and Art Auction\, a Home Brewers Competition\, a benefit whale watch cruise and a 5/10k run/walk. Jaya Lakshmi was one of the pioneers of ‘Kirtronica’ with her previous band “Lost at Last”\, founded in Maui\, Hawaii in 1997. Over the last few years Jaya Lakshmi has composed original electronic music using Ableton Live. Similar to the the Lost at Last sound\, her new music is a mixture of house and tribal trance beats\, with (recordings of) acoustic instruments like tabla\, guitar\, flute\, and sarod. In the current duo format\, Jaya Lakshmi sings live while Ananda runs Ableton Live. DESCRIPTION:The Bucket tournament is here!  \nWe are having a trial run tournament on campus- in K122 (same room as the past Legacy events).   \nWhat's a bucket tournament?\nMagic the gathering\, Vintage format\, but with special requirements in deck construction:\n–No 4 card copy limit (you can run as many copies of any legal card you want)\n–No rares. We're avoiding specifically bad large interactions.\n–Any card that goes to either graveyard or exile zones will instead be put in the bucket.\n–Players are forced to drop from the event when their decks decrease below 7 cards in library (total\, not in game).\n–Additional Banned cards:\nStomping slabs\nSurging Aether\nSurging Dementia\nSurging Flame\nSurging Might\nSurging Sentinels \nEntry fee TBA\, we're likely only taking pre-sign ups\, message me personally for details.   \nPrizes?  Ooh\, prizes!\nWe're giving away some interesting magic memorabilia for this event\, as well as the grand prize (for any good bucket tournament):  The contents of the bucket!
