For more information\, contact the Library's Young Adult Section at 586-3490. \nContest Rules: \nThe online contest starts at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday\, March 1\, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday\, March 7. Entrants are limited to Oahu residents\, ages 12 to 18. Teens under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian in order to participate. Library staff are excluded from this contest. Your Instagram account must be made “public” at least through March 14. Participant must hashtag the photo with #TTW15HSL and follow @HSPLSHIgov on Instagram. The number of “Likes” will not determine the winner\, but judges may take popularity into account. Photos must be family-friendly and obey all laws\, including Instagram policies\, copyright and privacy. For your privacy\, take only partial facial photos of yourself and do not include others. DESCRIPTION:Every first Thursday of the month we host a Jam Session at Easy Music Center – Honolulu. Of course\, our stage really is open to you any time of the day. People get up there and rock out all the time. But\, if you are a little bashful\, or are hoping that other random folks will get up there too and fill in on different instruments\, then come down on Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 6:30pm. We will have the stage ready to go (we normally do anyway) with microphones\, a guitar\, keyboard\, bass\, and drums. Just get up on the stage and get rocking!!! \nAlso\, we will be showcasing the Roland RD-800 Digital Piano! A phenomenal digital piano with an amazing feel and sound. If you haven't tried or even if you have\, we'll have it set up on our live sound stage and hooked up to our awesome QSC sound system!
