SUMMARY:BAMP Project & Marek Lieberberg Present Kings Of Leon
DESCRIPTION:BAMP Project & Marek Lieberberg Present\nKings Of Leon\nSunday\, March 1st\, 2015\nat The Blaisdell Center Arena\nwith Special Guest YOZA \nTickets on sale NOW!\nBampproject.com / Ticketmaster.com\, all Ticketmaster Outlets including the Neal S. Blaisdell Box Office / Walmart stores on Oahu\, Maui\, Kauai and the Big Island / or Charge by Phone at 1-800-745-3000 \nKings of Leon have a backstory so steeped in rock mythology that it almost sounds made up. The Followill brothers — Nathan\, Caleb and Jared — are sons of a preacher man who were raised on the road throughout the South\, traveling from one Pentecostal church to the next. After being shattered by a divorce\, the brothers were transformed by illicit substances and the stoner music of Led Zeppelin. Soon\, they were a rough and ready band\, enjoying the pleasures of the road while playing grinding\, garage-y jams tinged with Southern rock and gothic lyrics. By the end of the 2000s\, they were famous. \nThe band's early music was blend of Southern rock and blues influences\, but it has gradually expanded throughout the years to include a variety of genres and a more alternative\, arena rock sound. Kings of Leon achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with nine Top 40 Singles\, two BRIT Awards in 2008\, and all three of the band's albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK Album Chart. Their third album\, Because of the Times\, also reached the Number One spot. After the release of Only by the Night in September 2008 the band achieved chart success in the United States. The singles “Sex on Fire”\, “Use Somebody”\, and “Notion” all peaked at Number One on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album was their first Platinum-selling album in the United States\, and was also the best-selling album of 2008 in Australia\, being certified platinum nine times. The band's fifth album\, Come Around Sundown\, was released on October 18\, 2010. Their sixth album\, Mechanical Bull\, was released on September 24\, 2013. \nNeal S.
